ADT hires new VP of investor relations

BOCA RATON, Fla.—Timothy Perrott is the new vice president of investor relations at ADT, the company announced Jan. 9.
Based here, Perrott will report to CFO Michael Geltzeiler and be responsible for communicating ADT's strategy, growth prospects and financial performance, according to a news release.
“Tim is a world-class IR professional,” Geltzeiler said, in a prepared statement. “He brings a wealth of relevant experience with spinoffs and subscriber-based revenue models.”
Perrott comes to ADT from NII Holdings, where he has been VP of investor relations and external communications since 2003, according to the news release. Earlier, he worked with Gilat Satellite Networks, Orbital Science Corp. and Southern Company. He was named a “Top IR Professional” by Institutional Investor Magazine, according to the release.
“I was attracted to the company because of its market leadership position in a large and growing industry,” Perrott said in a prepared statement.
