ASIS announces speakers for this year

ANAHEIM, Calif.—Experts on physical security, cybersecurity and terrorism will be keynote speakers at the ASIS show, which will take place here Sept. 28 to Oct. 1.

Raymond W. Kelly, former commissioner of the New York Police Department, will speak at 8 a.m. Sept. 29.

Gen. Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA and former director of the National Security Agency, will speak at 8 a.m. Sept. 30.

Gen. James Mattis, former commander of the United States Joint Forces Command, will speak at noon Oct. 1.

“When it comes to defending against acts of terror around the globe, ASIS members and other security practitioners are in pivotal positions. It is of paramount importance that both operational and cybersecurity professionals possess the knowledge required to effectively defend and protect people, property and information,” ASIS president Dave N. Tyson said in a prepared statement.
