Companies partner on homeland security products Zeros & Ones and Cyclops Technologies seek to tackle a larger market share by working together on sales and marketing

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Zeros & Ones and Cyclops Technologies have entered into a global product and marketing partnership, targeting the homeland security market with emerging security applications that include digital perimeter marketing and digital signage. Based here, Zeros & Ones develops software and hardware for wireless broadband applications. The company’s flagship product is ThunderCloud, a software platform used for the transmission of digital content over wireless standards, such as WiFi. Cyclops Technologies, located in Clearwater, Fla. with research and development facilities in China, manufactures and integrates video surveillance, monitoring, storage and control systems. The company’s technology is used in license plate recognition applications, targeting law enforcement and homeland security customers, as well as enterprise organizations. In addition to the partnership, Mark M. Laisure, president at Zeros & Ones, has been named to the board of directors at Cyclops Technologies. Laisure joins existing director and Cyclops Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer John Chigos on the board. “Homeland security is now an international opportunity. We expect this alliance to provide immediate market penetration of ThunderCloud into one of the most important non-consumer industry segments to emerge in years,” Robert J. Holtz, chief executive officer at Zeros & Ones, said in a statement. Founded in 1994, Zeros & Ones is a publicly traded company. Other products it sells are StormChaser and One+Wireless Chip.
