SADDLE BROOK, N.J. - Henry Bros. Electronics, a subsidiary of Diversified Security Solutions Inc., has been awarded a $1.3 million contract to design, provide and install electronic security equipment at an unnamed defense company’s new facility in southern California.
The project will integrate access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, emergency telephones, public address intercoms and burglar alarms. Construction at the facility should be completed in June 2004.
According to James Henry, chief executive officer of Henry Bros., the system includes CCTV verification that will meet the verification standard requested earlier this year by the Los Angeles Police Commission. These standards were overruled by the compromise plan adopted by the LAPC in July (SSN, August 2003).
