Legic partners with CPI Card Group Brief

CHICAGO--Legic Identsystems, a contactless smart card technologies manufacturer, announced in early August a partnership with CPI Card Group, a large North American plastic card manufacturing company that will now be the first North American firm to produce Legic-based contactless smart cards. CPI Card Group is based in Littleton, Colo., and has facilities in Nevada as well. They produce everything from translucent cards to highly secure contactless cards. The Legic cards will be made in the Colorado facility, which is ISO 9001:2001 certified.
