NEW YORK--The New York Burglar & Fire Alarm Association presented its annual President's Award to John Lombardi, president of CIA Security, and a past president of the NYBFAA.
Current NYBFAA President Tim Creenan recognized Lombardi for his years of industry involvement, serving as: president of the NYBFAA; CSAA representative on the NFPA Committee for Premise Security; CSAA Education committee co-chair and on the CSAA Executive Board; and, founder of the Mid Hudson Alarm Association in Dutchess County, N.Y., where he presently serves as treasurer.
Creenan said Lombardi worked to refocus the association, which was nearly bankrupt, into a vital, active training-focused association, with a new executive director, active committees and a focus that now serves its members and industry with quality services.
