Love a little calendar contest? Fire-Lite installers to bid for inclusion in 'Best of Best' calendar

NORTHFORD, Conn.-- Fire-Lite Alarms, part of Honeywell Life Safety group, announced Aug. 14 a competition to find the "the most dedicated [Fire-Lite] installers worldwide." Twelve winners will be featured in Fire-Lite's 2008 Best-of-Best Calendar.
Fire-Lite spokeswoman Beth Welch called the contest a "fun way for us to learn more about the people who are using our Fire-Lite equipment and the unique applications they are using them for and it will allow us to promote those companies that are really being creative and using our Fire-Lite equipment to its fullest potential."
Welch said Fire-Lite is interested in learning about the companies themselves. "We like to hear personal stories from them. Some of these companies have been in business for years, expanding their businesses from generation to generation."
Entry is free and the 12 winners will be chosen by a panel of Fire-Lite staffers. The 2008 Fire-Lite calendar will be "distributed to dealers throughout each winner's area, publicized at major industry events and given to the top 12 installers for their own promotions." The top three installers will also receive cash prizes.
