ST. PAUL, Minn.—Mobile Pro Systems, a provider of mobile surveillance platforms for remote and dynamic environments, has announced that Colin DePree has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing.
DePree joins Mobile Pro Systems as organizations across North America increasingly rely on mobile and distributed surveillance to complement fixed security infrastructure. Recent market analysis shows that mobile surveillance deployments grew 28% year-over-year, highlighting a strong demand for solutions that can be rapidly deployed while maintaining consistent performance in temporary, remote, and evolving environments.
“Colin’s leadership comes at a critical moment for the security industry,” said Sam Rosen, CEO of Mobile Pro Systems. “As organizations face more dynamic environments and higher expectations for reliability, Colin brings a strong combination of technical understanding, customer perspective, and ecosystem-driven thinking. His ability to align teams, partners, and customers around real-world outcomes will support our continued growth.”
DePree brings experience across sales, technical support, and go-to-market leadership within the security and surveillance industry. His early career included direct customer support roles that shaped his understanding of how surveillance systems impact safety, asset protection, and operational continuity.
“Reliable security systems carry real responsibility,” said DePree. “Mobile surveillance allows organizations to extend coverage where fixed infrastructure is impractical, while maintaining consistent performance as sites and operational needs change.”
In his role, DePree will focus on strengthening customer engagement, expanding partner relationships, and aligning sales and marketing efforts with the needs of integrators, operators, and end users. He emphasizes that mobile surveillance plays a critical role in modern security programs by enabling flexibility without requiring significant infrastructure investment.
