Monitronics announced winners of its MFL

DALLAS—Monitronics announced the winners of its Monitronics Football League, a football-inspired competition among the company's authorized dealers.

Monitronics called the MFL, “a friendly competition among dealers to motivate quality account production.” Ranks for each dealer were determined based on accounts generated compared to the average rate for the company.

The league has two divisions; the Moni1Klub conference, comprised of dealers that typically generate more than 1,000 accounts per year, and the Elite Conference, dealers that produce at least 120 accounts a year.

Palmetto Alarm, based in West Columbia, S.C., won the Elite Advantage Conference playoffs and two tickets to a football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins. Dallas-based American Defense Systems won the Moni1Klub Conference, choosing a $5,000 cash prize instead of the tickets.

“I thought the Monitronics Football League contest was a lot of fun,” Jay Branham, owner of Palmetto Alarm, said in a prepared statement. “My team really enjoys the friendly competition.”
