Napco Income rises Brief

AMITYVILLE, N.Y.--Napco Security Systems' third quarter net earnings rose 46 percent, the security manufacturer reported.
Napco reported third-quarter net income of $1.5 million, 11 cents per share, compared to $1 million, or 7 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
A new product line and an "improved and highly motivated distribution network" contributed to the rise in sales, Richard Soloway, chairman and president of the company, said in a statement.
