NAPCO launches next-gen StarLink Connect

AMITYVILLE, N.Y. — NAPCO Security Technologies has introduced a next-gen StarLink Connect, a new Tri-Carrier 5G cellular communicator that builds on the company’s widely deployed StarLink platform.

The new StarLink Connect Series expands its capabilities further by supporting native panel up/downloading for leading panel manufacturers, including Honeywell, DSC, and NAPCO, while also enabling full system control through the Gemini Smart App for smartphones. This combination allows dealers to remotely program, manage, and service systems while providing end users with virtual keypad control, system status visibility, and optional SMS alerts.

The communicator features intelligent Tri-Carrier technology, automatically selecting between AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile networks for optimal signal strength, with automatic failover to maintain continuous reliability. Designed for new installations, upgrades, takeovers, and landline replacements, StarLink Connect #SLE-MAX2L-C supports full event reporting to any central station nationwide and requires no special receiver equipment or radio activation fees.

Installation time is reduced through panel-powered technology, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Native bus data support enables smarter system events, while full remote downloading helps dealers shorten service calls, reduce truck rolls, and accelerate project completion. There are also metal enclosure models, with or without power supply, for regions or applications requiring the same. Plus, a Z-Model version adds Z-Wave device support, enabling connected IoT control and smart scenes using standard Z-Wave devices. The communicator is ETL listed and meets UL365, UL985, UL1023, UL1076, and UL1610 requirements.
