Pye-Barker acquires Hartford Sprinkler, expands Connecticut fire protection services

ATLANTA—Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Hartford Sprinkler Co., Inc., expanding its fire sprinkler capabilities in Connecticut and further strengthening its presence in the Northeast. 

Hartford Sprinkler, founded in 1933, provides fire sprinkler installation, inspection, testing and maintenance services for commercial and residential customers throughout Connecticut. The company also offers fire alarm, fire suppression, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, backflow testing and fire pump testing services. 

According to Pye-Barker, the acquisition complements its existing security and alarm operations in Connecticut by adding fire sprinkler expertise and expanding service offerings for customers across the state.

Hartford Sprinkler has built its reputation on fire sprinkler services and code compliance expertise, serving customers throughout Connecticut for more than nine decades.

Pye-Barker said Hartford Sprinkler's employees will continue serving customers throughout Connecticut. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
