RedCloud partners with Schneider Electric

STERLING, Va.—RedCloud, a provider of physical access control systems, has partnered with Schneider Electric to give the company more cloud and web-based access control solutions, according to a company statement.

For Schneider Electric, a systems integrators and manufacturer that specializes in security and energy management, the agreement avails them of access control solutions that are IT-friendly, scalable and allow for third-party integration.

David Basil, CEO of RedCloud, said the company is pleased to be working with Schneider to “expand the availability of web-based access control through Schneider Electric's established base of customers and branch offices across the country.”

Through collaborative research and development with RedCloud, Schneider is creating an offer that integrates RedCloud's cloud-based solution into the Schneider's EcoStruxure architecture, with the intent of merging energy and security capabilities into a single solution, the statement said. The solution will be applicable for single buildings or across multiple locations.

RedCloud and Schneider Electric will be at the ISC West security showcase, which takes place in Las Vegas from April 10-12.
