DELTONA, Fla.—SS&Si Dealer Network, a national distributor of fire and security products, has announced the launch of the 2026 Kidde Commercial for Kids Program, a purpose-driven initiative supporting Embers of Hope Burn Foundation’s Burn Camp in Micanopy, Fla.
Through this program, SS&Si will donate 10% of its gross profit from Kidde Commercial fire alarm product sales in 2026, up to $10,000, to Embers of Hope. In a powerful show of support, Kidde Commercial has agreed to match SS&Si’s donation, effectively doubling the potential impact for young burn survivors.
Embers of Hope provides a free multi-day camp experience for children who have survived burn injuries. The camp creates a safe, empowering environment where survivors build confidence, form peer connections, and engage in activities designed to promote healing and resilience.
The organization is led by Rebekah Johnson, co-founder, executive director and burn survivor, who also serves as executive director for the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association and regional coordinator for Florida and Puerto Rico with the International Fire Sprinkler Association.
“The fire protection industry is built around protecting lives,” said Jake Voll, president of SS&Si Dealer Network. “The Kidde Commercial for Kids Program allows us to extend that mission beyond prevention and detection. Every Kidde Commercial product sold through SS&Si in 2026 will help support children whose lives have been directly impacted by fire. We’re proud to align our growth with real community impact.”
The initiative reflects a natural alignment between fire protection manufacturing, distribution leadership, and survivor support. When integrators choose Kidde Commercial products through SS&Si, they are not only selecting trusted life safety solutions, but they are also contributing to a measurable and meaningful cause.
“We are incredibly grateful for SS&Si’s commitment and Kidde Commercial’s willingness to
match their donation,” said Johnson. “Programs like this strengthen the fire safety community and help us continue providing life-changing experiences for young burn survivors.”
Throughout 2026, SS&Si will provide milestone updates as the program progresses toward its donation goal and will continue promoting awareness of Embers of Hope within the fire protection and integrator community.
The Kidde Commercial for Kids Program demonstrates how growth and generosity can move together - reinforcing the fire protection industry’s commitment not only to prevention, but also to long-term healing and hope.
