MONTREAL—Genetec, a provider of IP security solutions, has announced the availability of Stratocast, a video surveillance system powered by Microsoft's Windows Azure cloud-computing platform. After a five-month beta program at more than 40 customer test sites, including several small businesses and security systems integrators, the solution is now available in North America, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
