Safe Systems acquires, adds new office

LOUISVILLE, Colo.—Safe Systems, based here, opened a new satellite office and made two acquisitions in 2012. In 2013, the company plans to acquire again as well as grow organically—all part of a multi-year growth strategy.

LOUISVILLE, Colo.—Safe Systems, a Honeywell First Alert dealer based here, recently acquired D-Tech Alarm Specialist in Pueblo, Colo. The acquisition expands Safe Systems' growing security business in southern Colorado, and is the first step in the company's new strategy, according to company executives.
“This is our first one and we are looking for and talking to other companies actively,” Larry Halpern, president of Safe Systems, told Security Systems News.
