Mobotix CEO departs

Magnus Ekerot is no longer CEO of network camera provider Mobotix. The company announced that Mobotix CFO, Klaus Gesmann, will take on the role of CEO and sales oversight “until further notice.” According to a statement from Mobotix, Ekerot “was released of his position” on Feb. 17. NEW YORK—Embroiled in a patent lawsuit with e-Watch, Mobotix Corp. has successfully lobbied for suspension of the suit pending an examination of the validity of the patents involved, Mobotix announced Oct. 29.
