SILVER SPRING, Md.—The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Convergint’s Nathan Wells as the first-ever recipient of the SIA Valuing Experience, Talent and Service (VETS) Award, presented by SIA’s Veterans in Security community.

PAUL, Minn.—3M, a provider of security solutions to businesses and governments, has been awarded a contract to provide identification document verification for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Homeland Security Presidential Directive system, according to a company statement.
