Actuate Launches Actuate Secure

NEW YORK — Actuate has announced the launch of Actuate Secure, a modern VPN connectivity solution that securely connects cameras and video management systems (VMS) to the Actuate cloud.
As organizations scale Al-driven security deployments, secure connectivity has become essential. Traditional site-to-site VPNs often add cost, complexity, and long deployment timelines. Actuate Secure provides a streamlined alternative, delivering enterprise-grade encryption with faster implementation and reduced overhead.

Built on modern frameworks including WireGuard and Tailscale, Actuate Secure creates a lightweight, encrypted tunnel between a customer's network and the Actuate cloud. A small peer client installed on an on-premises device, such as a VMS server or network appliance, enables secure communication without inbound port exposure.
Actuate Secure complements Actuate's existing connectivity options, allowing customers to choose the approach that best aligns with their security posture, infrastructure, and deployment requirements.
