LANCASTER, N.Y.—Pfannenberg, a global provider of thermal management and signaling technologies, will showcase industrial fire alarm signaling solutions at the 2026 NFPA Conference & Expo, taking place June 22-24 at the Mandalay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The company will highlight products and application expertise that help engineers and facility teams build effective fire alarm systems.
“As industrial environments become louder and more complex, the need for clear, code-compliant alarm coverage continues to grow,” said Jacob Vernon, product manager for audible and visual signaling at Pfannenberg. “Through our PATROL, PYRA, and PROTECT product families, along with tools that make selection easier and more precise, we enable engineers to design reliable, standards-aligned fire alarm systems for harsh industrial settings.”
Pfannenberg’s fire alarm signaling solutions are designed to support performance-based coverage of audible and visual alarm systems and comply with NFPA 72 requirements for public and private mode applications. The T3 tone in Pfannenberg sounders meets the offset requirements with 10 dB for Private Mode and 15 dB for Public Mode, while the PATROL and PYRA product ranges are UL listed and fully compliant with NFPA 72 standards.
In addition, Pfannenberg’s sizing requirements exceed the minimum requirements in NFPA 72 performance-based alternatives, and its products integrate with BIM software and Pfannenberg’s proprietary sizing and 3D coverage tools to support accurate alarm planning.
At booth 1731, Pfannenberg will highlight three key signaling solutions. The PATROL line of audible and combination devices is designed for adverse conditions such as high ambient noise levels and bright surroundings, with adjustable sound output typically ranging from 85 to 122 dB(A). The PYRA line provides visual signaling for industrial notification, offering strong visibility and flexible installation options. For harsher conditions, the PROTECT Series offers audible and combination devices for demanding industrial, hazardous and explosive environments, using virtually unbreakable die-cast aluminum housings and available Xenon or LED visual signaling.
PROTECT Series devices include 80 selectable tones, four externally selectable additional tones, pre- and main-alarm functionality to help reduce shock reactions, and adjustable sound output from 86 dB to 116 dB. Select models are certified for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations and certain devices also carry SIL 2 certification, extending coverage options for facilities requiring durability, reliability and safety.
From mild industrial spaces to the most extreme and hazardous environments, Pfannenberg offers the tools, products and knowledge to help customers safely construct an optimal fire alarming system. The company also supports applications tied to battery energy storage systems and other industrial settings, offering UL-listed products backed by a 10-year warranty across key signaling lines.
