Dahua revitalizes product line, launches enhanced Night Color panoramic camera

IRVINE, Calif. – Dahua Technology USA announced a new 2x4MP multi-sensor ePoE camera series and improved classification of their Night Color low-light technology.

Reclassification of Night Color Technology helps security dealers and integrators more efficiently choose the appropriate camera for superior performance in low-light environments according to Dahua. Night Color Technology’s first generation of products was launched in 2018 offering full color images in very low-light scenarios without the use of LEDs or IR cut filters.

"Our decision to modify the naming conventions for our low-light cameras stems from our commitment to help our customers succeed," remarked Jennifer Hackenburg, Product Marketing Director at Dahua Technology USA. "Dealers and installers need to be able to confidently recommend products and technologies to their clients and clearly explain the benefits of choosing a particular camera. Regrouping our Night Color family into more straightforward categories will help our dealers demonstrate more expertise and confidence when they are selling."

The three new categories for Night Color are Basic Night Color, Enhanced Night Color, and Night Color+. In addition, Dahua has also announced the release of their first Enhanced Night Color 180° panoramic camera series (DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2-ASTE and DH-IPC-PDW5849-A180-E2-ASTE). They come equipped with dual 4MP sensors to deliver a single panoramic image with no blind spot and three times great light intake than a typical F1.6 aperture.
