NORWALK, Conn.—ISC West 2026, one of the nation’s leading comprehensive and converged security trade events, officially wrapped last week at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

Hosted in collaboration with the Security Industry Association (SIA), the event concluded five days of high-quality engagement, featuring over 29,000 security professionals and 750+ exhibiting brands from across the globe.

ISC WestThis year’s show focused on the growing intersection between physical protection and information technology (IT) infrastructure. With the successful debut of the Security Experience Center and the Digital Trust & Identity Featured Area, the 2026 event solidified its role as the industry’s holistic security incubator, strategically bridging the intersection of physical, IT and Internet of Things (IoT) security.

“ISC West 2026 has been a landmark event, anchoring a new global standard for how we define trust in a connected world,” said Mary Beth Shaughnessy, event vice president at ISC Security Events. “From the high-energy launch of ISC StartUps to the deep technical dives in our AI-powered learning sessions, this week proved that our community is no longer just managing risk - we are architecting resilience. The momentum we’ve seen on the floor this year sets a bold trajectory for the industry’s next decade.”

Highlights and key takeaways from ISC West 2026

  • Dynamic Keynote Series: The Main Stage served visionary thought leadership, featuring a powerhouse lineup of experts who addressed the most pressing issues in global security. This year’s series was highlighted by Haywood Talcove (LexisNexis Risk Solutions) and Paul Eckloff (former U.S. Secret Service), who gave a deep dive into how emerging technologies and identity fraud have shifted the front lines of security; Keith White (Salesforce), who shared insights on the evolution of corporate protection in a digital-first world; and Dr. Jessica Barker MBE, who captivated a crowd with her analysis of the human factor and the psychology behind cyber-attacks. Together, these speakers reinforced the show’s central theme: that modern security requires a fusion of high-tech intelligence and human-centric strategy.
  • Focus on Digital Trust and Identity: Sponsored by HID, this new featured area addressed the critical industry shift toward identity-first security, showcasing the latest in biometric authentication and unified access management.
  • Debut of the Security Experience Center: Activated by SAGE Integration, the live, immersive experience allowed attendees to witness how biometrics, environmental sensors and human decision-making integrate in real-time to secure modern commercial spaces.
  • ISC StartUps: The inaugural commitment to emerging companies where integrators and investors caught a first glimpse of disruptive technologies - from agentic AI to autonomous security operations - before they hit the mainstream market.
  • AI-Powered Learning With Rozie.AI: For the first time, the SIA Education@ISC program integrated the Rozie.AI Synopsis platform. Attendees utilized AI-driven summaries and real-time translations across 120+ sessions, maximizing the value of the technical curriculum.
  • Introducing ISC Pro: A sold-out attendee experience that maximized productivity and event satisfaction. With exclusive benefits such as the ISC Pro Lounge, convenient fast-lane badge pickup, and enhanced access to networking with industry experts, these Pros made the most of every hour in Las Vegas.
  • Cyber Hub Featuring Live Hacking: In a high-impact collaboration with the SIA Cybersecurity Advisory Board, attendees put their skills to the test against the Cal Poly Pomona Cyber Team. Located within the Cybersecurity & IoT pavilion - one of the fastest-growing destinations at ISC West - this hands-on activation offered a premier arena for professionals to level up their technical expertise.

“This year’s ISC West was an outstanding success, with high engagement, energy and presence on the show floor, in the conference rooms and at the many events held during the show,” said Don Erickson, CEO of SIA. “The 2026 SIA Education@ISC West program featured more educational sessions than ever before, led by top-quality presenters and instructors and covering the most pressing and innovative topics in our industry. We saw tremendous turnout at SIA’s events and activities during the show, including premier networking offerings, The Advance membership meeting, the SIA New Products and Solutions Awards, professional growth events on utility security and data center security and gatherings of SIA’s communities for young professionals, veterans, women, end users and startups, and received very positive feedback from our members and attendees. SIA is proud to be the premier sponsor of ISC West and looks forward to building on the success of the 2026 show in future years.”

The week’s high energy extended beyond the exhibit hall, headlined by a packed ISC West Concert featuring a performance by multi-platinum country star Chris Lane. The event, along with various networking receptions, provided a vital space for the industry to reconnect and celebrate the year’s achievements.

ISC West will return to Las Vegas in April 2027 with a new look and recommitment to the future of converged security. The security conversation will continue this fall at ISC East, taking place Nov. 3-5, 2026 (SIA Education@ISC: Nov. 3-5, Exhibit Hall: Nov. 4-5), at The Javits Center in New York City.
