ATLANTA—Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is marking its 80th anniversary in 2026, highlighting eight decades of growth from a regional fire protection supplier into one of the largest fully integrated fire, life safety and security services providers in the United States.
Founded in 1946 in Atlanta by two Georgia Institute of Technology graduates, the company now operates more than 250 locations across 47 states with more than 9,000 employees.

ATLANTA—After 77 years of operation, Pye-Barker has made a few changes and the company decided this month to update its look to reflect those changes.
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety revealed its new look during the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Nashville Speedway on June 24. Pye-Barker sponsored the No. 20 car driven by John Hunter Nemechek.
