NEW YORK—SwiftConnect, provider of the connected access network for places and spaces, has announced it has joined the ServiceNow Build Partner Program with the release of its ServiceNow Spoke integration in the ServiceNow Store.
The SwiftConnect integration connects ServiceNow AI Platform capabilities to physical access infrastructure for an effortless access experience, without the need for customers to learn a different user interface or deploy a proprietary, dedicated physical identity and access management (PIAM) platform.
SwiftConnect's release of its ServiceNow Spoke integration in the ServiceNow Store connects ServiceNow AI Platform capabilities to physical access infrastructures for an effortless access experience, without the need to learn a different user interface.
“With digital identities, many widely implemented open standards make interoperability straightforward, but physical security lacks comparable standards across access systems and devices,” said Matt Kopel, president and co-CEO, SwiftConnect. “SwiftConnect fills this gap by enabling this interoperability so ServiceNow customers can manage physical access with the same discipline and security that is commonplace with digital identity best practices. This delivers adaptive and context-aware access control, while saving time and significantly increasing efficiency by providing customers with one front-end experience for identity and access management.”
The SwiftConnect integration makes it possible for organizations to work directly within ServiceNow to manage a wide variety of user, credential, and access entitlement workflows for employees, contractors, visitors and other authorized users. Now, organizations can streamline workflows, business rules, auditing, and compliance reporting for both digital and physical identities through one unified ServiceNow environment.
“Our customers consistently ask us for workplace solutions that connect all aspects of the employee, contractor and visitor experiences, including access to spaces and amenities,” noted Scott Fuller, GM and vice president, workplace service delivery at ServiceNow. “By natively building in SwiftConnect’s integration platform as a spoke, our customers can manage their physical access and security workflows from the ServiceNow environment they already know and love.”
With SwiftConnect, organizations benefit from centralized governance of user identities, roles, and permissions for access control across diverse physical and digital environments. SwiftConnect also links enterprise identity systems with base building physical access infrastructures, creating a network of access permissions to provide users a seamless, street-to-seat experience.
The SwiftConnect Spoke is available to ServiceNow customers as an open, modular integration layer that allows organizations to create a customized ServiceNow experience for managing physical identity workflows, and as a prepackaged workplace service delivery workflow for visitor credentialing.
