RÜMLANG, Switzerland —dormakaba has announced that it has become a strategic investor for SwiftConnect, a platform that integrates identity and physical access, bringing systems and spaces into its connected access network.
SwiftConnect automates traditionally manual workflows and connects existing access systems, identity providers, and IT systems to form an open, unified network. Companies can streamline and centrally manage the full mobile and physical credential lifecycle, enabling secure, manufacturer-independent access to doors, floors, and shared areas.
SwiftConnect was founded in 2020, is based in Connecticut (USA), and employs 165 people. The company, its platform, and end-to-end custom integration solutions are an ideal complement to dormakaba's global access solutions business.
Till Reuter, CEO dormakaba, says: "With our investment in SwiftConnect, we are focusing on openness and compatibility as key success factors in the access management of the future. SwiftConnect's platform addresses a structural need in the access management market and has great growth potential. We share the common goal of providing customers with access to the most advanced, user-friendly, and secure access technology.“
”dormakaba's strategic investment underscores the ongoing market momentum for SwiftConnect as organizations seek to modernize physical access management without replacing their existing infrastructure,” say Chip Kruger and Matt Kopel, co-CEOs of SwiftConnect.
The parties have agreed not to disclose further details and the financial terms of the transaction.
