The Monitoring Association appoints new director of meetings

MCLEAN, Va.—The Monitoring Association (TMA) has announced the addition of meeting and events professional Keely Daugherty to its team as its new director of meetings.

Daugherty brings nearly 10 years of experience working in meetings and events for non-profits and membership associations. Most recently, she managed conferences on a government contract for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Besore, CEO of TMA. “For these reasons, this is a critical position for our small team of seven. Keely possesses a combination of the knowledge, experience, and expertise required to deliver the highest quality programming that has long been the hallmark of TMA. She has integrated seamlessly with our team.”

“I have always loved bringing people together to celebrate, meet, and learn. I also love seeing the organization’s hard work come together in a tangible way,” Daugherty noted, “I am excited to meet TMA members at events and create both engaging and meaningful experiences for them to network and share ideas.”

Daugherty is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is currently in the process of earning continuing education credit to obtain her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification.
