AMAG Technology promotes Matt Barnette to senior VP of sales and marketing

TORRANCE, Calif. - AMAG Technology, a security management and digital video solution provider, on July 21 announced the promotion of Matt Barnette to SVP of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities, and will work closely with his sales and marketing staffs to meet company goals and initiatives. He will report to AMAG Technology President, Bob Sawyer.
Barnette joined the company in 2004 as senior business development manager. He was promoted to VP of sales and marketing in November 2005. Prior to AMAG, Barnette planned and executed sales and marketing initiatives for multiple national account organizations at Andover Controls and Integral Technologies in his roles as senior national accounts manager and eastern regional sales manager, respectively. Barnette has 19 years of experience in the security industry, starting with a stint as an integrator and working in various roles in information technology and product marketing.
