Luminys to spotlight connected security ecosystem at Security Canada Central 2026

TORONTO—Luminys Systems Corp. will showcase its connected security ecosystem at Security Canada Central 2026, taking place Oct. 21-22 at the Toronto Congress Centre, with a focus on helping integrators and end users evaluate cloud, on-premises and hybrid security deployments.

At Booth 1102, the Irvine, Calif.-based company plans to demonstrate a range of commercially available solutions spanning video surveillance, video management, cloud services, access control and networking. The presentation builds on the connected-ecosystem strategy Luminys introduced at ISC West earlier this year and will emphasize practical applications for real-world security projects.

Luminys Systems Corp. “Security professionals need solutions that fit the way their sites actually operate,” said Wayne Hurd, vice president of sales at Luminys. “At Security Canada Central, we look forward to showing Canadian partners how our video and cloud offerings can support different deployment demands and discussing when cloud, on-premises or hybrid management is the right approach for their customers.”

A centerpiece of the exhibit will be the company’s LumiCloud Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS), LumiCenter Video Management System (VMS) and LumiViewer platform. Luminys said attendees will be able to see live demonstrations illustrating how organizations can manage and access security systems across different deployment models.

The broader ecosystem on display will also include intelligent cameras, edge devices, access control technologies and networking solutions. Company officials said the offerings are designed to connect security devices, video management, cloud services and building systems into a more unified workflow.

According to Luminys, the showcase will highlight capabilities including intelligent video search, low-light performance, active deterrence, remote system management and flexible network connectivity. The goal is to help security integrators and end users identify technologies and deployment strategies best suited to their operational requirements.

The company also plans to highlight customer applications in logistics, retail and outdoor environments. Among the examples featured will be Pantos Trucking’s Tsawwassen, British Columbia, logistics facility, where Luminys technologies support more than 110 camera endpoints across warehouses and outdoor yard areas.
