LVC Companies names Kevin Darnell as strategic partnerships director

MINNEAPOLIS—LVC Companies, a provider of fire protection, life safety, security, and technology integration solutions, announced that Kevin Darnell has joined the company as strategic partnerships director.

In this role, Darnell will focus on expanding national strategic alliances, deepening partner relationships, and driving initiatives that support LVC’s continued growth across its integrated solutions portfolio.

LVC CompaniesDarnell joins LVC following four and a half years with Hanwha Vision, where he served as director of business development. During his tenure, he led strategic business development efforts across several major verticals – including retail and restaurants, cannabis, banking and finance, stadiums and arenas, and casinos. Leveraging his extensive hands-on industry knowledge, he helped organizations deploy advanced surveillance and security technologies that strengthened loss prevention, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved overall business performance.

With more than 30 years of experience in retail leadership roles, Darnell has built a respected career as an expert in loss prevention, asset protection, and operational strategy. Prior to joining Hanwha, he held senior leadership positions at many of the nation’s most recognized retail brands, including Caleres, Radio Shack, Dollar General, Bass Pro Shops, Kmart, Michael’s Stores, and Lowe’s. This practitioner-driven background provides him with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by enterprise organizations and the technologies required to support safety, security, and business continuity.

In his new position at LVC, Darnell will apply his decades of experience to develop and strengthen strategic partnerships that align with LVC’s mission of delivering comprehensive, customer-focused solutions that protect people, property, and operations. His consultative approach and established industry credibility will play a key role in advancing LVC’s national presence.
