Pyronix introduces new SmartHome products and features for HomeControl 2.0

ROTHERHAM, UK – Pyronix has announced new products in its SmartHome line and features for its HomeControl 2.0 app as part of its offering in the intruder alarm and smart home markets.

It’s thanks to HomeControl 2.0 that managing and controlling security systems is made that much easier and efficient according to Pyronix.  “We’ve been working hard to develop a number of new products and features for HomeControl2.0 that offer our installers innovative solutions for boosting growth and delivering true customer value,” said Marketing Director Laurence Kenny.

As part of its app improvements HomeControl 2.0 now features SmartPlug compatibility. That gives users access to geofence alerts, biometric login, and intuitive navigation. “We’re really pleased to release this update. We’re now able to provide even greater control over the home with all new SmartPlug compatibility,” Laurence said.

Another added feature is the all new HomeControl Personal Help Alarm. Users feeling threatened or distressed may raise an alarm or send a message to family members and friends requesting help, whether they’re inside the home or outside.

“It’s great to be able to add more value to the app and give installers more to include in their Enforcer sales conversations with customers,” said Laurence. “We remain committed to developing HomeControl2.0 as security system control and management tool, and now as a personal security offering too.”

For their hardware offering Pyronix introduces their DoorbellCam and DoorbellChime that provide main-entrance protection and two-way communication. DoorbellChime is a battery operated sounder that delivers full audio coverage to a property whenever the doorbell is pressed, and DoorbellCam comes with full HD video, a 130 degree wide-angle view, motion detection, real-time notifications and a push-to-talk function. Both pieces of hardware are integrated with HomeControl 2.0 to interface with Pyronix’s suite of software solutions.

“It’s a really exciting time for Pyronix at the moment as we advance in the IoT security market and continue to develop our SmartHome security range. We remain committed to pushing technology boundaries to deliver complete solutions that work for our installers and users,” Laurence concluded.
