Honeywell connects to SkyBell

MELVILLE, N.Y.—Honeywell's Total Connect app is now fully compatible with the SkyBell HD Smart Video Doorbell, expanding the company's smart home ecosystem.
The company announced the integration, which will allow users to access the doorbell's camera directly through their Honeywell Total Connect iOS app, near the end of July. Users will be able see and communicate with visitors while at the same time still being able to arm/disarm and lock/unlock the premises.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—Icontrol Networks brought new connected home offerings into its ecosystem through the company's Developer Program: LG's Smart Refrigerator, SkyBell HD Wi-Fi video doorbell, and Bttn's Wi-Fi Smart Button.

ADT announced earlier this week that the Ring video doorbell is now available for its customers nationwide. While the Ring has made some noise in the smart doorbell category, there are many options to choose from when it comes to this first-line-of-defense product for homeowners.
