ADT Commercial acquires SAFE Electronics Inc. Deal comes one month after purchase of Ackerman Security Systems’ commercial sales and service division

BOCA RATON—ADT Commercial continues its strategic M&A strategy to expand its nationwide geographic footprint with the acquisition of SAFE Electronics, Inc., based out of Las Vegas, Nev.

“We’re so excited to welcome SAFE Electronics to ADT Commercial and to deepen our presence in the Las Vegas area and across the state of Nevada,” said ADT Commercial Executive Vice President Dan Bresingham. “For decades, SAFE Electronics has proven its wide-ranging expertise in protecting what matters most to commercial customers, and we’re thrilled for them to join the ADT Commercial family,”

Bresingham told Security Systems News in an exclusive interview earlier this year that in addition to filling in geographies and technical capabilities that may be missing, “building our culture and adding great employees is why we like the M&A play so much,” he said.

Established in 1984, SAFE Electronics has been a family-owned and operated low-voltage systems integrator, helping to protect people and property across the state of Nevada. SAFE Electronics specializes in the system design and installation of fire alarm and suppression systems, security alarms, video surveillance and access control for a wide range of commercial industries, including in retail, industrial facilities, institutional environments, hotels and hospitality, gaming and entertainment arenas, and manufacturing sites.

“For more than 35 years, SAFE and our talented employees have established a commitment to excellence in serving customers across a wide range of industries,” said SAFE Electronics, Inc. President Roy Pross. “We’re proud to join ADT Commercial, whose national presence will allow us to better respond to our customers’ evolving needs and provide our dedicated team with the career growth opportunities and expanded capabilities to best serve our customers.”
