OTTAWA, Ontario—The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the winners of the 2026 New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards, an annual global security awards program. Presented annually at ISC West, the awards celebrate innovation across security technologies.
March Networks was named the winner of Best in Video Surveillance Data Storage for its Long Term Cloud Storage solution. The solution was recognized for transforming long-term video retention with a scalable hybrid-cloud approach that reduces storage costs by up to 80% without compromising security or performance.
Established in 1979, the SIA NPS Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts who evaluate entries based on innovation, features, and impact. This year’s program included 38 judges and a wide range of categories highlighting advancements across the security industry.
March Networks’ Long Term Cloud Storage solution was recognized for redefining how organizations manage and retain video surveillance data.
Already in use across enterprise environments, the solution helps organizations manage petabytes of video data without increasing information technology (IT) overhead.
It is built on a scalable, tiered cloud architecture powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 Glacier, enabling organizations to retain video for months or years without adding on-prem hardware.
This innovation directly addresses a growing challenge across industries: managing growing video volumes while controlling storage costs and meeting compliance requirements.
Organizations using Long Term Cloud Storage can meet compliance requirements with confidence; reduce infrastructure costs; simplify operations; and scale seamlessly. These capabilities make it an ideal solution for enterprises looking to modernize their video surveillance storage strategy.
This recognition highlights the increasing importance of cloud-based video surveillance storage in today’s security landscape while reflecting the strength and collaboration of the March Networks team.
Key contributors include Jeff Hanna, channel account manager, for delivering a standout presentation to the judges; Owais Khalid, senior product manager, and Jeff Corrall, chief product officer, for supporting the product vision and innovation.
