ECKey expands sales and marketing team

LANCASTER, Pa.—ECKey, a provider of smartphone readers and access control systems, announced that it has expanded its sales and marketing team, according to a company statement.

Amanda Hershey has joined the company as a marketing specialist managing marketing communications, social media initiatives and the ECKey Certified Partner Program.

ECKey, which had two rounds of funding toward the end of 2012, also expanded its external sales team to include manufacturers' rep firms Midlantic Marketing and Chesapeake Marketing in the mid-Atlantic states, Monfort Marketing for the north-central states, Security Reps for the Southeast, and Rupper Associates for New York and New Jersey, according to the statement.

“The demand for smartphone access systems is growing fast. In just 60 days we have added sales and support coverage in 22 states with partners that share our commitment to technical support and customer service,” Paul Bodell, president and CEO of ECKey, said in the statement. “We selected these rep firms for their technical expertise and extensive experience with access control.”
