IQ announces board of directors

ERIE, Pa.—Members of the board of directors of IQ Certification were recently elected during the company's annual meeting.

Lynn Comer was named board chairwoman, and Dave Curie was elected vice chairman, according to a release. Amanda Baumgartner, secretary, and Peggy Anderson, treasurer, were re-elected, while Amanda Haydn, Darryl Parker were newly elected to two-year terms. Don Childers was also elected to the board.

Former chair Tim Creenan will serve the IQ Program as past chairman.

“With the influx of so many non-traditional companies entering the security industry, the I.Q. Program offers one of the best practice and marketing differentiators,” Comer said, in a prepared statement. “Being IQ certified is an outward sign of a company's internal commitment to providing quality service and product.”

The IQ Certification Board administers the IQ Certification Program, reviewing applications and approving or denying certification based on the IQ Certification guidelines.
