Megh Computing adds Pierre Bourgeix as an embedded consultant

HILLSBORO, Ore.—Megh Computing, a leading provider of real-time, AI-based video analytics solutions, announced that industry expert Pierre Bourgeix has joined the company as an embedded consultant, bringing decades of experience in the physical and cybersecurity markets to its team.

With over 30 years of consulting expertise, Bourgeix will be in place to assist and support Megh’s continued growth as a leading provider of a real-time streaming analytics platform based on open analytics principles. He currently serves as Senior Partner at Butchko•ESI.

“I’m very excited to work with a group of forward thinkers in the industry,” Bourgeix said.

Megh's Video Analytics Solution (VAS) is targeted for smart venues deployable from the edge to the cloud, providing actionable insights for video and data.

Megh Computing was founded in 2017 by a team of experts from Intel, led by CEO Prabhat K. Gupta, that pioneered the use of FPGAs (field-programmable gate arrays) in the data center. Over the past few years, this team has taken the promise of heterogeneous computing from concept to production. The company is focused on providing a real-time, AI-based video analytics solution that can be deployed on any platform using CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, or ASICs, from edge-to-cloud.

Megh’s solution automates the use of video as a signal for real-time, actionable insights in verticals like smart buildings and factories, creating business value for enterprise customers. Today, Megh Computing’s mission is to provide the best-in-class, real-time analytics platform for creating actionable insights from streaming data.

The company is based in Hillsboro, Ore., with development offices in Bangalore, India.
