Metis Secure expands western footprint

OAKMONT, Pa.—Metis Secure, a provider of in-building and outdoor emergency communications systems, clinched agreements with two other companies to expand its presence in the Midwest and Western United States, according to company statements.
Metis signed a strategic partnership with Seevid Inc., a security technology rep company, which will represent Metis' advanced emergency communications and notification systems in the Western U.S., the company said.
Pleased with the partnership, Mark Kurtzrock, president and CEO, Metis Secure, said of Seevid: “They specialize in advanced, IP based technology, so they really understand what our system can do. We have been looking for a top-ledge representative to help scale and support our business in the Western US, and Seevid is a great fit.”
Metis Secure is also partnering with Pro Com Systems, a Rockford, Ill.-based systems integrator, the company said in a statement. Pro Com will sell, install, and maintain Metis Secure systems for customers throughout the Midwest.
