Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Acquires Alarm Engineering Inc.

ATLANTA — Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Maryland-based security company Alarm Engineering Inc.

Pye-Barker said that with the acquisition the Alarm Engineering team, which currently services Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, will complement its fire protection teams in the area to better serve Mid-Atlantic communities with integrated safety and security solutions.

Since 1985, Alarm Engineering Inc. has tailored customized commercial solutions to protect people and property with innovative technologies in settings ranging from banking institutions to secured government buildings, and industrial facilities. Alarm Engineering's systems detect intrusion, fire and unauthorized activity, is backed by 24-7 monitoring and real-time alerts. The company also provides access control, video surveillance, analytics and other system integrations.
