Security Robots on patrol during World Series

ATLANTA—Forget the battle between the Braves and Astros, this Saturday afternoon and evening, Robotic Assistant Devices (RAD’s) broad line of autonomous response, and friendly, security robots will be on display at Truist Park here.

RAD’s mobile robot, ROAMEO will be assisting Allied Universal as they secure Truist Park and surrounding areas, making Games 3 and 4 of the World Series a more secure and safe experience for all. RAD’s award-winning ROSA will also be on hand keeping an eye out for rabble-rousers trying to ruin the event for all.

RAD’s ROAMEO and ROSA will be on patrol on Friday October 29 and Saturday October 30, and representatives from RAD and Allied Universal Technology Services, including RAD’s Steve Reinharz and parent company Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions (AITX) CEO.

“Today’s labor shortage has created a challenge for most industries, it has especially effected the security services industry,” RAD said in the announcement. “Security companies and their clients are scrambling to find cost-effective alternatives to having to pay more and receiving less. RAD has the solution right now, autonomous security robots. These robots perform many of the duties previous fulfilled by manned guards, now at a fraction of the cost. Come see for yourself where the state of artificial intelligence and robotics is taking the industry. The future of robotics is inevitable, and it’s on display during Game 4.”
