U.S. Navy awards fire company contract worth $52K

February 24, 2005 SEATTLE - Western Fire & Safety Company received a contract from the U.S. Navy worth approximately $52,000 for fire fighting, rescue and safety related equipment. The Naval Supply Systems Command’s Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound granted the contract to provide carbon fiber cylinders, or oxygen and carbon dioxide tanks, used by fire fighters. Based here, the fire installation company services, supplies and installs land and marine fire detection and suppression systems, and is a distributor of life safety products.
