Viscount receives order from utility company

February 27, 2003 BURNABY, B.C. - Electronic door access and intercom manufacturer Viscount said Wednesday that it had received an order for $58,000 (CDN) of its equipment, one of the largest orders to date since the company’s acquisition of Sigma Data Systems last June. Stephen Pineau, president and chief executive officer of Viscount, said that the recent order from BC Hydro, along with other regular orders, “makes us very happy with our decision to acquire the company.” Viscount paid $35,000 (CDN) for Sigma Data Systems in 2002.
