Pivot3 lands another $25 million?

I'm not seeing it anywhere else, but a web site called Texas TechPlus has a blurb that says Pivot3 has raised another $25 million. Here's what you get without paying (which I didn't do): Spring, Texas-based Pivot3, a developer of data storage products based on the iSCSI protocol, has raised $25M as part of an ongoing, $30M funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Thursday. Sielox to deregister

Yet another small public company has decided it's not worth the hassle to be public. Today, Sielox has announced its intentions to deregister. The access control manufacturer that merged with video maker Costar in 2007 has been listed on the OTC Bulletin Board, but has grown tired of the costs of being public, and has fewer than 300 shareholders, and so can apply to deregister. KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—Robert Kelly, 56, co-founder of Liberty Security Systems here, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, the company announced in a press release. Kelly founded the company with his brother, Charles Kelly, in 1986. AUGUSTA, Maine—The Maine Legislature's Joint Transportation Committee has moved forward a bill this week that would set statewide policy for the use of license plate recognition technology.
