Global Link adds monitoring for Bosch systems

TORONTO—Global Link, a monitoring and security services company based here, is now offering monitoring services for Bosch intrusion detection systems out of its two central stations, according to a news release.
The company recently installed a CONETTIX D6100IPv6 communications receiver/gateway, allowing it to receive communications from Bosch control panels.
"We are always looking for innovative technology to offer to our dealers, and Bosch products provide features that others don't; this gives our dealers an edge," said Eric Ruiz, director of operations, Global Link Response Centre. "Through its technology, training, and support services, Bosch is helping its customers to retain existing clients and compete more effectively for new business."
The receiver/gateway can monitor an array of Bosch control panels, including the company's latest G Series and B Series product families. Both product families use the latest IP technology, the release noted, including DNS support for remote access and central station communications, simplifying installation and disaster recovery.
