Keynote speaker for ESA summit announced

IRVING, Texas—With chatter from a number of competitors making it difficult for customers to focus, selling is getting harder. The keynote speaker at the 2014 ESA Leadership Summit, CEO of Digital Media Training Steve Bookbinder, will address that problem, focusing on strategic sales tactics in his address, event organizers announced Oct. 18.
“I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Steve Bookbinder for the past 20 years,” said Steve Firestone, Select Security executive vice president, in a prepared statement. “I have seen him and his approach to sales and sales management transform companies ranging from smaller entrepreneurially run businesses to Fortune 100 companies.”
Following his Telguard-sponsored address, Bookbinder will lead a session called “New Business Prospect/Pipeline Management Techniques,” tackling how to establish a new business pipeline and a sales culture based on a common language and accurate forecasting.
Bookbinder has a background in stand-up comedy, improvisational acting and competitive swimming.
Bookbinder will speak Jan. 22 at the ESA Leadership Summit, which will be held Jan. 19-23 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla.
