ROK Systems protects schools

BELMONT, Mich.—Systems integrator ROK Systems recently completed a comprehensive networked security system solution for the Traverse City Area Public Schools, connecting 26 school buildings to one network.

ROK Systems installed the Milestone XProtect security system in the district's school buildings; this system is user friendly, reliable, and can support an unlimited number of cameras. Administrators reported that ROK Systems' upgrades have allowed them to combat vandalism and theft on their property with ease, according to a news release.

The company provides integrated video surveillance, labor management and access control solutions to more than 300 customers throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.  ROK Systems provides network surveillance cameras, access control systems, and integrated systems, including event and alarm management solutions and energy optimization solutions.
 
The company has grown from one office to two and from two employees to 19 since it was founded in 2005.
