Securitas Technology acquires Sonitrol El Paso

UNIONTOWN, Ohio—Securitas Technology has acquired Sonitrol El Paso, expanding its presence in Texas and strengthening its service capabilities across the Southwest.
The acquisition brings Sonitrol El Paso's operations into Securitas Technology, further extending the company's North American footprint and enhancing its ability to serve commercial customers with localized support and electronic security solutions.

According to the company, the deal expands its service coverage throughout Texas while combining Sonitrol El Paso’s regional expertise and customer relationships with Securitas Technology’s broader resources and technology portfolio.

The acquisition also broadens access to Sonitrol’s cloud-based security offering, which provides customers with expanded remote management, scalability and flexibility.
Securitas Technology said the platform combines cloud capabilities with Sonitrol’s longstanding audio verification technology, designed to help reduce false alarms and improve emergency response.
Sonitrol has been a longtime provider in the security industry, known for its verified electronic security solutions and audio detection technology. Securitas Technology said the acquisition supports its strategy of investing in regional markets while expanding service offerings for new and existing customers.
