Summer doldrums

No news is good news as they say, but "they" are wrong, and I think we could use some exciting developments to shake things up.
Okay, that came out slightly more cursed than I was intending, I realize that things are a little too exciting all the time right now, but I mean in a fun way, not a log into my email and see just what went wrong today way. There have been a couple of high-profile acquisitions of course, but I see that all the time now. Show me the exciting new tech! Show me the fruits born of the continuing innovation in the security industry! Show me potato salad!
But Family Feud jokes aside I’d love to see any big news that amounts to me writing about a topic that isn’t one of three things:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Seriously, one blessed moment without its mention.
- Tariffs
There’s got to be a better way to pass the time than watching the markets yo-yo.
- Ransomware
I’m pretty sure they’ve stolen everyone's passwords at this point, when do we get to the good part?
So in the spirit of latching onto some exciting news, I want to suggest that anyone reading this skip over and watch our most recent webcast: The Security Chain: From Innovation to Implementation. We’ve got three whip-smart panelists plus Editor Cory Harris ready to broaden your knowledge on a variety of topics from integrators, manufacturers, and end user relations to budget constraints and meeting security objectives.
And if you missed your chance to partake in any of our previous webcasts, have no fear - every webcast is recorded and uploaded to www.securitysystemsnews.com/webcasts.
A little gift from me to you.
