POOLE, U.K.—TDSi by Hirsch has released GARDiS version 3.3, a major update to its access control and security management platform that adds new intruder management capabilities, streamlines credential administration and strengthens security controls.
The release introduces integration with Ajax Intruder Cloud, allowing users to discover and monitor Ajax hubs, devices and groups within the GARDiS platform. Authorized operators can view status changes, arm and disarm systems, and manage bypass settings without switching between separate applications.
Intruder panels, zones and groups can also be incorporated into GARDIS Cause & Effect rules, enabling automated responses to security events.
A key feature of the update is a redesigned credential model that consolidates credential management under a single universal "Card or Fob" type. According to the company, the change eliminates the need for administrators to match credentials to specific decode types and automatically migrates existing credentials during upgrades.
The company said the streamlined approach also incorporates biometric credentials and IP lock whitelisting, helping reduce training requirements and minimize configuration errors.
"GARDiS 3.3 is an important milestone for our customers," said Tina Pemberton, director of SMB software at TDSi by Hirsch. "These updates make the platform faster, simpler and even more secure, while opening the door to powerful new integrations such as Ajax intruder management."
The update also adds configurable password policies, banned-word lists and automatic account lockout features to strengthen login security. New permissions for event dashboards and organization-based filtering provide more control over user access to information, while report-sharing options allow sensitive reports to remain private or be shared with designated users.
