ADT and Southern California Edison provide customers with ADT Pulse

BOCA RATON, Fla.—Southern California Edison customers can now use ADT Pulse for home energy management, according to an ADT statement.

ADT Pulse is an interactive home management platform that allows customers to arm and disarm their security systems, control thermostats, turn on and off small appliances and lights, access real-time video, and lock and unlock doors. The platform also allows customers to see daily energy bill estimates, energy usage information and energy savings alerts, among other usage monitoring features.

“SCE customers now have the ability to manage their energy consumption more wisely, which helps them save money on their energy bill,” Don Boerema, chief corporate development officer at ADT, said in the statement. “Adding energy management and reporting capabilities to ADT Pulse means SCE customers can now more fully realize the benefits of 'smart home' technology.”
