LONDON—Amthal Group Companies has partnered with AURA to launch a new on-demand security response service designed to connect customers requiring physical attendance following alarm activations or assistance requests with a nationwide network of vetted, Security Industry Authority (SIA)-licensed security responders.
The service links Amthal's mobile app and EMCS alarm receiving centers with AURA's network of more than 180 accredited private security companies and thousands of SIA-licensed professionals across the UK
When an incident requires a physical response, AURA identifies the nearest available responder and coordinates attendance. Customers can track the responder's progress and view estimated arrival times through the Amthal app, providing real-time visibility into the response process.
"With police attendance at alarm activations less frequent and businesses continuing to face significant crime risks, connecting customers with an available, vetted security responder is central to this partnership service," said James Wilson, head of customer growth UK at AURA. "By bringing together response coordination, live tracking and digital reporting, AURA provides a clear process from the initial request through to attendance at the premises."
The service is intended for a variety of environments, including commercial and retail properties, construction sites, residential locations and vacant buildings. It also offers a solution for organizations needing to manage security outside normal business hours when keyholders may be unavailable.
Requests for assistance can be submitted directly through the Amthal app or initiated following an alarm activation received by an alarm receiving center. Responders can investigate incidents and conduct external checks, with secure keyholding arrangements available when premises access is required.
Following a response, customers receive a digital report that includes time-stamped records, GPS data, photographs and incident details to support compliance requirements and post-incident reviews.
"AURA gives our customers instant access and total protection when on-site attendance is needed," said Jamie Allam, CEO of Amthal Group Companies. "It helps businesses managing multiple locations, vacant properties or sites outside normal working hours arrange a physical response when an incident occurs."
The service is managed by Amthal and powered by AURA's technology platform and responder network. According to the companies, it integrates with existing alarm receiving centers, monitoring systems and the Amthal app without requiring additional monitoring center personnel.
